Flashlight Privacy Policy

Overview

Flashlight is a fully offline utility. It performs a single function — turning your device's torch on and off — and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. This policy describes, in full, our approach to your privacy: there is no data collection to disclose.

Information Collected

• Flashlight does not collect any personal data, such as your name, email address, location, contacts, or device identifiers.
• The app does not show a runtime permission dialog. It declares the FLASHLIGHT permission, which Android treats as a normal permission granted automatically at install time and does not request camera access of any kind.
• No usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic data are collected.
• Flashlight does not require or use an internet connection, so no data ever leaves your device.

How Information Is Used

• Because no data is collected, none is used, shared, or sold for any purpose, including advertising, analytics, or profiling.
• The Camera2 API is used only to switch the torch mode on and off; the app never opens a camera preview or captures images.

Third-Party Services

• Flashlight does not integrate with any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services.
• No information is shared with third parties, as none is collected in the first place.

Data Retention And Deletion

Flashlight has no personal data to retain, store, or delete. The app holds no state beyond the current torch on/off value while it is open, and that value is discarded when the app is closed.

Children's Privacy

Flashlight does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, because it does not collect personal information from any user, regardless of age.
